Terms and Conditions

First Eureka Education LTD –  Terms & Conditions

1. Formation of Contract

1.1 These Terms & Conditions, together with the application/enrolment form and payment confirmation, form a legally binding contract between you (the Student or, if under 18, your parent/guardian) and First Eureka Education Ltd.
1.2 A contract is only formed once we have accepted your enrolment and received any required deposit or payment.

2. Participant Information

2.1 You confirm that all information provided is accurate and agree to promptly supply any required documentation, e.g. passport, medical details, dietary needs.

3. Fees and Payment

3.1 Course fees are charged per person, per week, and include tuition, meals (if residential), and all scheduled activities.
3.2 Payment terms: full payment by card or bank transfer is due upon booking or within 30 days of invoice. Late payment may result in cancellation.

4. Cancellation and Refunds

4.1 Cancellation by Participant

  • Notice received more than 60 days before programme start: full refund minus an administration fee (e.g. £100).

  • Notice 30–59 days before start: 50% refund.

  • Less than 30 days’ notice: no refund unless replacement enrolment is secured.

4.2 Cancellation by Us

  • If First Eureka cancels for reasons other than force majeure, a full refund will be offered, or an alternative placement where possible.

4.3 Visa-related Changes

  • If a student requires a UK visa and is denied, a refund may be available on presentation of an official visa rejection letter (subject to terms).

5. Health, Safety & Medication

5.1 A Medical and Dietary Information Form must be submitted in full prior to arrival.
5.2 Our staff may administer basic over‑the‑counter medication (e.g., paracetamol, antihistamine) with prior consent; prescription medication must be carried and administered by the student unless arrangements are made in advance.

6. Behaviour and Rules

6.1 Students must attend all scheduled lessons and activities and follow staff instructions at all times. Any group leaving the campus must follow safety protocols and obtain permission from their instructor. This includes staying in groups of at least three, signing in and out, and carrying emergency contact information—consistent with standard procedures in UK-based programmes.
6.2 Use of mobile phones and devices during lessons is prohibited unless permitted by staff.
6.3 Plagiarism is strictly prohibited—academic integrity is expected at all times.

7. Accommodation & Supervision

7.1 Residential Students will stay in secure accommodation with designated curfews.
7.2 Students aged 12–15 require supervised campus exit after dinner; those aged 16–18 may have some autonomy under signed-out arrangements.

8. Liability & Insurance

8.1 First Eureka Education Ltd has public liability cover but accepts no liability for third-party services.
8.2 We are not liable for loss, damage, or theft of personal property.
8.3 Maximum financial liability is capped at the programme fees paid.

9. Data Protection & Privacy

9.1 We comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Personal data is used solely for programme delivery, safeguarding, and compliance.
9.2 We collect medical, contact, and emergency data—students (or parents/guardians) must consent to this collection, with privacy practices described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Force Majeure

10.1 We may cancel, postpone or change arrangements due to events beyond our control (e.g. extreme weather, government restrictions). We will attempt to provide alternatives or issue a refund, but liability is limited.

11. Amendments & Notices

11.1 We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions, provided changes do not affect participants already enrolled.
11.2 Important notices may be communicated via email or through our online portal.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

12.1 These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of English and Welsh courts.
